Welcome to Loxton Primary School

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about what we offer for students and families at Loxton Primary School.

As the local community school, we take great pride in providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for all students. We value the positive relationships we foster and build with students and families. We focus on strengths and encourage our students to be the best they can be.

Our students are supported by myself as Principal, a Deputy Principal, Leader of Wellbeing and our Leader of Curriculum and Teaching & Learning Improvement supports our Literacy and Numeracy learning. We have committed Classroom and Specialist Teachers in Physical Education and Health, Technologies, Science and HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences) and School Services Officers.

We offer a variety of extra-curricular opportunities for students across all year levels.  We have a strong sporting culture with fantastic achievements in sports with many students representing the Riverland and at state level.  Community involvement is strongly encouraged.

Our school has excellent facilities including both a Junior Primary and Upper Primary designated playground, with a spectacular newly constructed nature play, an all-weather outdoor stadium and a 5 bay kitchen. 

Our Vision 'Dream  Believe  Learn  Achieve' provides us with the 'what' we want for our students and this is clearly supported by our clear focus on our School Values, providing the 'how' we are going to achieve this. The values are embedded in everything we do from school awards to our behaviour education policy. Our School Values are:
